Open Kitchen Sculpture Garden Project

The Open Kitchen Sculpture Garden (OKSG), managed by Pedro Ospina of Norris Square Neighborhood Project, is a public space that promotes unity and well-being by supporting creativity, sustainability, education, and food access to the community. One of OKSG’s programs, which are entirely volunteer-led, includes growing produce in the greenhouse on-site and distributing the yield free of charge to local residents, especially those in need. EWB Philly is partnering with OKSG to replace their current greenhouse to better suit the needs of the program. The current greenhouse is in poor condition and is too small to meet the needs of the space.

The project team is in the final phase of the new greenhouse design, which will provide the OKSG with ample space for growing crops and shelter to keep materials out of the elements. This project is expected to conclude in late 2026, so check back soon for more project updates!
